JOSHUA Y. APPLE, MD

Welcome to Joshua Y. Apple, MD, the newest Associate at Eastside Eye Physicians, PC. Dr. Apple has been in practice since 2016. He is a Board-Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist that is Fellowship trained in Glaucoma.

NEAL M. KRASNICK, MD

Dr. Krasnick has been in practice with Eastside Eye Physicians for over 30 years. He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and a medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed his surgical ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital / DMC in Detroit.

MICHAEL J. CLUNE, MD

He is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has serviced the Detroit metropolitan community for over 25 years. Educated at Georgetown University, he completed his surgical training at The Kresge Eye Institute where he functioned as Chief Resident in his final year. He is an active member of the hospital staff at St John Ascension Health wherein he functioned as ophthalmology department chairman for over 15 years.

JOEL L. PELAVIN, MD

Dr. Joel L Pelavin is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience in the practice of Ophthalmology. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and Doctor of Medicine degree from the Wayne State University school of medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University.

Her expertise was so evident coupled with the fact that she was kind, patient and affirming. Dr. Krasnick, assisted by Carissa, followed with a thorough exam and top notch explanation on the current status of my eye health. The doctor spent more than 3 hours with me trying to fix what a doctor elsewhere had done. I wish this had been the place I went to in the first place--not a second opinion. Professional. Kind. Never felt like I was on an assembly line or that she's in it for the money. This doctor is a true doctor. Her staff were equally professional, helpful and kind.

I am so grateful to visit a doctor's office where I am treated well by everyone! I not only value Dr. Clune's skill as a physician, but also appreciate the kindness shown by those working at the front desk, and the people I initially see in the exam room before the doctor comes in. There can sometimes be a wait, but patients are informed of that before the appointment and I have found that I am usually finished before the normal wait time. I have left practices because of rude office staff, even though I was very happy with the doctor. Not going to happen at this office!
